Patients and residents of Mutemwa continue to enjoy a peaceful life and they look forward to weekends as pilgrims pass by and spend some time with them.
Mutemwa family lost Mr Bindani early this year fro asthmatic and chest related complications. He was buried at Mutemwa and Friends of Mutemwa attended the funeral and burial service. He will be greatly missed by his Mutemwa family.
Donations in cash and kind continue to come to Mutemwa. Of note is a donation of two televisions. for the clinic. These are on open view and patients and residents can now watch sports, especially football and news.
The family and friends of Elder Guy and Sister Ros Peterson were touched by what they heard about Mutemwa and as a family,they put together their savings and bought medication worthy $2 000 USD.
They raised more money and asked Jairos Jiri to make customised tricycles. They donated 4 of these to residents. This has improved mobility for residents and they can now move a distance of two kilometres to the town centre.
