The Eid al-Adha commonly translated as the Feast of Sacrifice festival is celebrated by muslims to honour Abraham’s willingness to s@crif!ce his s0n upon God’s command.
Meanwhile, the pictures and videos of their carcasses which have been flooding social media platforms, has allegedly drawn the attention of the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP)which prompted investigations.
The president of the Supreme Council of Islamic Affairs in Zimbabwe, Sheikh Ishmail Duwa confirmed the Muslims have such a festival where they s@crifice animals.
However, the council has since l@unched investigations on whether these sacrifices are Muslim or meant to tarnish the Islamic name.
