The much-anticipated congress of the Zimbabwe National Liberation War Veterans Association (ZNLWVA) will feature three candidates: Cde Christopher Mutsvangwa, Cde Mureremba, and Cde Victor Matemadanda, all vying for the Chairmanship post on July 12th.
In a post by ZANU PF Patriots, Cde Matemadanda aims to prioritise land empowerment, while Mutsvangwa, who is Zanu PF Secretary for Information and Publicity, seeks to fulfill prior resolutions.
Mureremba has emphasised veterans’ total empowerment through land, education, skills training, and economic programs.

The last ZNLWVA congress was held in 2013 in Masvingo, where Cde Christopher Mutsvangwa and his executive were elected to govern the association.
