Nelson Mutsvangwa, aged 39, has been convicted on nine counts of unlawful entry under aggravating circumstances and sentenced to five years and three months imprisonment.
According to the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA), Mutsvangwa targeted various office premises in Harare’s Central Business District, gaining unauthorized access using duplicated keys.
Court records reveal that on one occasion, he was apprehended while attempting to leave the premises with three Lenovo laptops in his possession.
One such incident occurred on May 20, 2024, when Mutsvangwa was caught in the act by the complainant, who detained him until law enforcement arrived.
A subsequent police report led to Mutsvangwa’s arrest and prosecution.
