Police in Mwenezi have arrested 25-year-old Daisy Ivy Makanaka for the m_rder of her husband, Talent Golden Masuku, and his ex-wife, Shingirai Mativenga.
According to police reports, the incident occurred on July 10 2024, at Masvosva Village.
Makanaka, who was reportedly in a stormy relationship with Masuku, struck him on the head with a log and st@bbed him in the back with a kitchen knife after finding him in the company of Mativenga, his ex-wife.
The suspect’s anger did not stop there. She also struck Mativenga on the head with the same log and bit her on the cheek.

Makanaka is facing charges of murd3r and attempted murd3r.
The motive behind the att_ck is believed to be jealousy and revenge, as Makanaka was allegedly unhappy about Masuku’s rekindled relationship with Mativenga.
