They’ve discovered that these bones can be used to enhance their dangerous habit of sn!ffing d_rugs.
A source explained that graveyards have become a target because it’s harder to find ashes from cr3mated bodies.
This alarming trend is part of a disturbing practice in making a street dru_g known as nya0pe, which is a mix of low-quality h3ro!n, c@nn@bis, and other substances.
Add!cts have even started injecting each other with blood from those who are high, making the situation more dangerous.
The stolen human bones are crushed into powder and mixed with other ingredients to create nya0pe, also called wh00nga.
Nya)pe is commonly found in South Africa, and it’s highly add!ctive.

A resident from Pretoria, who wished to remain anonymous to avoid any trouble, mentioned that many people, including children, are getting hooked on nya0pe.
They are trying to track down the traffick3rs selling it, as it is cheaper and more accessible than other dru_gs like c0c@ine.
While the Royal Eswatini Police report primarily focused on the issue of dagga (mar!juana), they noted there has been a significant number of arr3sts related to dru_g possession. In total, 785 suspects were arr3sted during a specific period, with many of them being male.

In Pretoria, a cemetery worker at Atteridgeville revealed in a post circulating online, that over 50 memorial stones had been damaged by suspected nyaope users looking to steal ashes for their dru_g mix.
The situation highlights the desperate lengths some addicts will go to, putting both themselves and the memories of the deceased at risk.
