Popular Mzansi media personality and businessman, Somizi Mhlongo teased his kiddies’ clothing line Sompire Kids, last year. Heading online, he shared that he was launching a children’s brand to rival all other children’s brands. This year, he is finally making good on his promise but unfortunately, not everyone is excited about his latest venture.
Just one day before the launch of Sompire Kids, Somizi is facing backlash from people who don’t think that a convicted sexual offender should be supported.
“The pieces are coming together nicely…I can’t wait for you to see what we are cooking, every kid deserves a Sompire kids gear in their wardrobe, and every parent should afford it….that’s my goal… few months to go before the launch….@sompirre,” Somizi said in a clip last year promoting his Sompire Kids clothing brand.
While it took him quite a bit of time, the line is finally ready and set to be launched on Friday this week.
All week long, he has been counting down to the launch of his collection which is coming to South African shelves on Spring Day.
He even sat down with the queen of radio Anele Mdoda to discuss this exciting venture.
“He is dropping a kiddies fashion range tomorrow!!!! We are talking all things Sompire Kids!!!! Tune in we are talking about it now and he says he wants to get something off his chest about Masked Singer SA #aneleandtheclubon947,” Anele wrote on X.
