The Namibian President, His Excellency Dr. Nangolo Mbumba is now in Zimbabwe for the upcoming regional summit.
He arrived at Robert Mugabe International Airport yesterday.
President Nangolo Mbumba was received by Minister of Skills Audit and Development Prof. P. Mavima and other senior government officials.
The 44th Ordinary Summit of SADC Heads of State and Government is being scheduled to run from 17th -18th of August 2024 in Harare, Zimbabwe.
The Summit is running under the theme; “Promoting Innovation to unlock opportunities for sustained economic growth and development towards an Industrialised SADC”.
During the 44th Ordinary Summit of SADC Heads of State and Government, the Zmbabwean President, His Excellency Dr. Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa is expected to assume the chairmanship of SADC board.
Meanwhile, the Heads of States from Angola and Malawi have also arrived in the country.
