FORMER champion boxer Arifonso “Mosquito” Zvenyika’s marriage is on the rocks following stunning revelations his wife was having an extra-marital affair in which she was even referred to her boyfriend’s pr!vate parts by his totem.
It has since emerged the name of the boyfriend is Leonard Jamanda.
He claims, in conversation with Mosquito, that she lied to him that she was a single mother.
Jamanda told Mosquito to ‘GO AND HANG,” when he confronted him with the evidence.
Yesterday the ex-champion boxer returned home from the gym and found that his wife, Jesman Mutokonya, had vacated their home in Mushongandebvu Street, Mbare.
She took with her most of the household furniture, including a kitchen unit, a wardrobe, blankets as well as all the food bought for the festive period.
She also left with their three children aged 12, 8 and 3.

Jesman said:

The matter came to light when his wife Jesman’s phone required some repairs and Mosquito took it to a technian.
And, as the phone was being repaired the former Commonwealth boxing champion came across expl!cit chats between his wife and her boyfriend.

Jesman even referred to her boyfriend’s pr!vates by his totem. Many of the messages are too graphic to be published in this newspaper.

“Ndatoipa mazuva ano,” boasted Leonard.
Mosquito spoke to H-Metro yesterday.
He said what infuriates him the most is the lack of remorse on the part of his wife’s boyfriend.
When confronted with the evidence, he said Jamanda went on the offensive and told the former champion to divorce his wife if he felt she was cheating.

And when Mosquito threatened the two with legal action, Jamanda said:

“Iwe vakadzi vangani vawanyenga?
“Sekuti isu tinoziva kwedu kuti mukadzi ahura ipapo ipapo anorambwa. Saka zvekucourt kwandiri haisi nyaya.
“Ko iniwo kana ndiri kuita revenge mukadzi wanguwo wawakanditorera? Saka unofunga kuti ini handikuzivi here? Ita mushe pliz usandinetsa go to hell and hang.
“Saka ini chete ndini wawagona kuona matext angu, ko evamwe ke? Kana iri nyaya yemacourts ndiko kwangu ikoko, toonana musi wacho.
“But next time isa mukadzi wako chikwangwari chinotaridza kuti mukadzi wemunhu. Plus ukuona mukadzi wako akuda mumwe murume iwe uripo there’s something wrong. Don’t bother me anymore.
“Let us meet kucourt sekureva kwako.”
Mosquito has had three failed marriages, the first when he was just 16.
For one who has sired a dozen kids, there was hope he would finally settle down when he tied the knot with Jesman in August 2016.
The ceremony, held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Waterfalls, was punctuated with pomp and fanfare, with the Police Band providing a live performance.
