Neville Mutsvangwa, son of Zanu PF activists Chris and Monica Mutsvangwa, will have to spend more nights in jail after High Court judge Esther Muremba recused herself from his case citing “personal reasons.”
According to sources, his case has been referred back to the registrar of the High Court.
“Justice Esther Muremba recuses herself from delivering judgment in Neville Mutsvangwa’s bail application. Judge cites ‘personal reasons.’ Matter referred back to Judge President for allocation of another judge.”
His bail ruling was set for last Wednesday, but the Investigating Officer’s typed record of proceedings was missing from the docket, resulting in the postponement of the case.

Mutsvangwa was arrested three weeks ago on allegations of forex trading and money laundering.
