A newborn baby girl was found abandoned in a bush opposite Mutero Lodge in Flamboyant Park in Karoi Mashonaland West Province on Wednesday.
According to the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP), the Police in Karai are currently investigating this case of exposing an infant as the infant has since been admitted to Karoi District Hospital.
“The ZRP is investigating a case of exposing an infant which occurred in Karoi on 05/02/25, where a newborn baby girl was found abandoned in a bush opposite Mutero Lodge in Flamboyant Park. The infant has since been admitted to Karoi District Hospital,” the memo reads.
ZRP is appealing to the public who might have the information to report at any nearest Police Station.
