Sungura musician Nicholas Zakaria is reportedly not feeling well as he is suffer!ng from diabetes, hypertension and cramps that have made him struggle to walk.
In a video posted by H-Metro, Mrs Magaret Gweshe-Zakaria, his wife has appealed to the public asking for assistance.
“Longtime ago, people known me by Margaret Gweshe, im Nicholas Zakaria’s wife. Im kindly asking for help from the people of Zimbabwe as my husband is not feeling well, he is suffering from diabetes,” she claimed.
Despite the appeal, Nicholas has dismissed media reports claiming he is ill and in need of financial assistance.
In a recent radio interview this morning, the “Mabvi Nemagokora” hitmaker stated that he is healthy and preparing for a tour in Mozambique.
He took to social media alerting fans that he is receiving calls and messages from well wishers. He stated that as a person who is aging as he is 69 years. He said the age may lead to not feeling well here and there but he claimed that he is now well.
He also noted that he is set to perform in Mozambique this weekend, as he is headlining 3 shows in Mozambique (21 June, 22 June and 25June).

“I was sick for a while, but now I’m much better. I have no issues performing, as I’m actually embarking on a tour to Mozambique this weekend,” Zakaria said.
The veteran musician also mentioned that his fans can look forward to new music next month. “I will be releasing a few tracks next month while I work on completing a new album, which is set for release either this year or the next,” he added.
