In a disturbing incident, a Toyota Hiace collided with another vehicle at a road intersection, resulting in injuries to nine people.
On July 17, 2024, at approximately 07 45 hours, a kombi Toyota Hiace traveling from Kuwadzana to Harare CBD reportedly lost its brakes at the intersection of Samora Machel Avenue and Prince Edward Road, leading to a collision with another vehicle traveling along Samora Machel Avenue from Harare CBD.
The injured individuals were transported to Parirenyatwa Group of Hospitals, where they are receiving treatment.
