A prominent 27-year-old apostle from the Make Them Believe International Church (MTBIC) in Kanyama, one of Lusaka, Zambia’s most densely populated areas, has astonished his followers by reportedly levitating in the air for three minutes, challenging their doubts about his divine abilities.
The extraordinary event was sparked when the apostle learned that several church members were attending services at a rival church owned by a friend in Makeni. This was particularly distressing for him as two of the women he considered potential marriage partners were among those leaving.
During the service that day, while the attendees were midway through a program, the apostle seized the moment to address what he perceived as the disloyalty of his congregants. He began by questioning why some of his church members—who were not only potential tithers but also prospective wives—felt the need to seek spiritual guidance elsewhere. He then provocatively asked if they doubted his ability to heal and bless them.
The congregation fell silent, and when it became clear that no one would respond, he instructed everyone to stand. He urged them to refrain from making noise and instead lift their hands in silent prayer.
Suddenly, to the astonishment of the assembly, the apostle began to levitate, his eyes closed, his clothing glowing. His voice transformed, reminiscent of the voice of Jesus from well-known cinematic portrayals of biblical stories.
“No spiritual leader can challenge me; my anointing comes directly from God,” he proclaimed. “I was compelled to demonstrate this to urge you to cease behaving like unfaithful followers. Even John the Baptist’s disciples did not forsake him for Jesus.”
Witnesses to the apostle’s levitation reportedly fell to the ground, speaking in tongues, while others offered their vehicles as sin offerings.
