A pedestrian who was struck by an unknown motorist in a hit and run road traffic accident which occurred on Sunday night is luckily to be alive after sustaining head injuries as well as fractured leg and arm. The hit and run road traffic accident occurred at around 2100 hours at the intersection of Fife Street Extension and steward Road Belmont, Bulawayo.
Currently, the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) in Bulawayo are investigating the accident and also appeal to the public with information to report at any nearest Police station since the motorist did not stop after the accident.
“Police in Bulawayo are investigating a hit and run road traffic accident which occurred on 16/02/25 at around 2100 hours at the intersection of Fife Street Extension and steward Road Belmont, Bulawayo where a pedestrian was injur3d.
“An unknown motorist hit the victim and did not stop after the accident. As a result the victim sustained head injuries as well as fractured leg and arm. Anyone with information to report at any nearest Police station,” police confirmed.
