The Zimbabwe Republic Police is investigating a fatal road traffic accident that occurred at Market Square Rank, Harare on July 3 2024, at approximately 7:00 pm.
A pedestrian was struck by an unidentified kombi and the driver failed to stop and render assistance.
The v!ctim, a male, sustained severe !njuries, including a fracture and bruises on his head. He was rushed to Sally Mugabe Hospital, where he unfortunately succumbed to his !njuries.
Police are urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has information about the identity of the kombi driver to report to the nearest police station.
The investigation is ongoing, and detectives are working to gather evidence and identify the responsible party.
The police appeal to anyone who may have dashcam footage or any other relevant information to come forward and assist with the investigation.
