The internet was set ablaze after President William Ruto hosted controversial Zimbabwean businessman Wicknell Chivayo at his Sugoi home on a Sunday afternoon.
Known for his flashy lifestyle, Chivayo is currently in Kenya for what he describes as a ‘business trip.’
In a post on Facebook, Chivayo shared his experiences in Kenya, which included a visit to the famed Masai Mara Safaris, where he enjoyed the wildlife alongside his companion, Lulu.

During their trip, they had the privilege of meeting President Ruto and his wife, Rachel, on their farm.
Chivayo didn’t hold back in his admiration for the Kenyan leader, calling him a visionary and praising the progress Kenya has made under his leadership.
However, Chivayo’s reputation is mired in controversy.
Last year, he was implicated in a scandal surrounding a US$40 million elections tender deal with the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission.
Following the receipt of funds from this deal, he went on a spending spree, raising eyebrows when he purchased two Maybachs in a single week, boasting that the money was merely “a little change.”
