Police have confirmed that the reports of more than 10 d3aths from a recent @ccident involving a commuter bus and a fuel tanker on the Harare-Bulawayo Road in Kuwadzana are inaccurate.
Police spokesperson Commissioner Paul Nyathi stated that five people lost their lives, and six others were injured in the crash.
The accident occurred when a Toyota Hiace minibus turned right into the path of an approaching fuel tanker, which had no passengers.
The bodies of those who d!ed were taken to the Sally Mugabe Hospital mortu@ry for examination, while the injured individuals are receiving treatment there.

In a separate incident along the Masvingo Road, two people d!ed and five were injured when a Toyota Land Cruiser went off the road and flipped over.
The deceased were transported to Mvuma Hospital mortuary for a post-mortem, and four of the injured were admitted there, while one was sent to a Harare hospital for further care.
Commissioner Nyathi urged drivers to follow road rules and regulations to help reduce the number of accidents on the roads.
