The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) is seeking the public’s assistance in investigating a brutal murd3r and robbery incident that occurred at a complex under construction along Hillside Road Extension, Msasa, Harare on July 16 2024.
The crime took place at around an unknown time, leaving one person d3ad and others seriously !njured.
According to reports, three unidentified suspects entered the complex through an unlocked gate, where they targeted six individuals and the security guard, Elliot Mudzingwa (32).
The suspects @ttacked their victims using logs and steel bars, causing severe inj_ries to all of them. The security guard succumbed to his injur!es sustained during the attack, while the other victims are receiving treatment at a local hospital.
During the incident, the suspects stole a total of US$ 95.00 and four cellphones before fleeing the scene in their getaway car.
The police are appealing to anyone with information that may lead to the identification and arrest of the suspects to come forward and report at their nearest police station.
The ZRP is urging anyone with any information about this heinous crime to come forward and assist in bringing the perpetrators to justice.
