In a public statement posted by Nick Mangwana on his X account, it was announced that President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa will tour and officially open the new Baker’s Inn Plant in Bulawayo.
The Permanent Secretary for Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services’ tweet reads:
“This morning, His Excellency President Emmerson Mnangagwa @edmnangagwa will tour and officially open the new Baker’s Inn Bulawayo Plant in Belmont, Bulawayo Metropolitan Province.”
The new factory is equipped with cutting-edge bread manufacturing technology, delivering greater efficiency and productivity.
The Baker’s Inn Bulawayo plant boasts impressive capabilities, producing an astonishing 8,000 loaves of bread per hour, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The brand was established in 1989 with the opening of a retail shop on First Street in Harare, which was supplied by a bakery called Andrew Foods. Baker’s Inn started producing its own bread in 1991 at Chitungwiza Town Centre.
