In a positive development, Prophet Passion Java and his wife Lily have made a generous contribution to the health sector by donating two much-needed ambulances through their foundation.
A reliable source told source that the United States-based couple recognized the pressing need for ambulances and took the initiative to support healthcare services in Zimbabwe.
The source verified the authenticity of the pictures of the ambulances circulating on social media. They said the pictures were taken at Beitbridge Border Post, where the ambulances are currently being cleared by relevant authorities.
By donating the ambulances, the source said Passion and Lily Java, hope to inspire people to give back to the community. The source indicated that Prophets Passion and Lily Java know that Zimbabwe needs more than just two ambulances and this donation is just a glimpse of more to come.
In an unexpected turn, Passion Java sought to downplay his involvement by distancing himself from reports of the donation on his official Instagram account. He said people had edited his and his wife’s names onto the ambulances.
“Amana hameno vanhu vaedhita edhita zvima ambulance varikuti Passion adhoneta ma ambulance. Handidi kutora glory yandisina,” Passion Java said in the video shared on his Instagram stories.
He revealed that he will be making his way to Zimbabwe this Friday to preach the gospel of Jesus.
“Ini chandirikuziva mndechekuti musi we Friday ndinenge ndiri ku Aquatic Complex ndichiparidza Jesu ikoko. Ini handichazi muma streets zvekutiu ndinzi ndazorira ndakati. In short maybe ndinogona kunzi ndapera. I think nganditi ndapera. Mira ndinyatsobvuma, ndapera,” Passion Java said in his usual comic way.
He emphasised that he had nothing to do with the pictures of ambulances being shared on social media platforms.
“Saka kana mada nezvangu munongouya ndoparidza Jesu. Haaa maambulance. Haaaa. I will be in Zimbabwe this coming Friday Aquatic Complex. I will be preaching Jesus. Musanmdipotse ndatenga ma ambulance kana chii. Handiko Baba,” Passion Java concluded.
