Econet Wireless have been experiencing technical challenges on recharging and buying bundles since early hours of Wednesday 6 March. In a post seen by Newsreportzim.com , the Mobile network provider apologised to its customers who are furious over the poor expensive services provided by the company.
The Statement reads;
IMPORTANT NOTICE ‼️
We are facing a technical challenge, affecting recharge and some banking services.
We regret the inconvenience caused and are working to restore normal service.
Thank you for your continued loyalty and support.
Seven hours later the company gave an update that clients are now able to recharge using scratch cards which can be obtained from vendors but they kept quiet on the issue of buying bundles and airtime online. A cross check made by this source verified that the system is still down.

Zimbos started firing some warning shots that they will opt for Starlink onces legalised to operate in Zimbabwe due to the poor services provided by the available mobile providers.
