Nick Mangwana, Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Information, Publicity, and Broadcasting Services, has warned the public about an individual impersonating “Major Sean Mnangagwa.”
Mangwana issued the warning via a post on his X handle, stating:
“MATSOTSI ON THE LOOSE
Whoever made some believe that being dishonest is hustling is damaging a generation.
In the last few days there has been many reports of people being fleeced in some shady fuel deals by a conman using this number purporting to be Major Sean Mnangagwa.
It’s not him. Please don’t be hustled out your moneys trying to make a quick buck.
Sean Mnangagwa is the son of Emmerson Mnangagwa and Auxillia Mnangagwa. Sean has a twin brother named Collins.
He is a member of the Zimbabwe National Army where he is an officer.
He is reportedly an officer with the Presidential Guard.
Sean Mnangagwa is currently involved in an exchange programme with the Chinese army.
Sean Mnangangwa won an award during a military training graduation in China.Deep cooperation between Zimbabwe and China in their yearly military exchange programs provide an opportunity for both countries to learn from each other’s experiences, tactics, and technologies”
