McDonald Sheldon, better known by his stage name Qounfuzed, has alleged that he was sabotaged by “ZimCelebs” and excluded from the Gore remix.
According to Zim Music Reloaded, the issue arose after Qounfuzed appeared in a video with the then-girlfriend of the ZimCelebs owner.
This reportedly did not sit well with the owner, leading to Qounfuzed being blocked from the remix.
ZimCelebs, a prominent organiser of various remix songs such as Gore, Nawanadem, Fire Emoji, and Zvese, allegedly used its influence to exclude Qounfuzed not only from the Gore remix but also from the Zvese remix. This exclusion has been linked to the aforementioned video incident.
Qounfuzed also mentioned that he was supposed to feature on a song by Master H, but this project was put on hold due to the ongoing conflict with ZimCelebs.
In a thought-provoking Facebook post that has resonated throughout the Zimbabwean music scene, Qounfuzed exposed what he described as corruption and bias within the industry.
His post has sparked significant discussions about fairness and integrity in the local music community.
