Former Manchester United and Real Madrid centre-back, Raphael Varane is set to join a newly promoted club, Como after his contract with Manchester United expired at the end of 2023/24 season.
Como was promoted to Seria A after an impressive play in last season.
According to Fabrizio Romano’s latest updates on the Frenchman, he highlighted all documents required for Varane to sign his two year contract are ready.
“Raphael Varane to Como, here we go! Documents ready and set to be signed. Former Real Madrid and Man United CB will play in Serie A under Cesc Fabregas as manager.
Understand Varane will sign two year deal until June 2026 + option until 2027,” the update reads.
Raphael Varane made his final appearance for Manchester United on 25 May in FA Cup Final clash against Manchester City at Wembley. Varane lifted the the FA Cup after they thrashed the English Premier League Champions 2-1.
Varane made 92 appearances for the Red Devils and scored two goals.
