The woman who became the subject of viral social media gossip after being misidentified as the friend’s mother involved in an affair with Ras Pompy has now addressed the situation.
Muchadeiko Albertina Masarire clarified the situation on Facebook. She humorously responded to inquiries about whether she was the woman involved by saying, “andizive zvinofunga vanhu” (I don’t know what people are thinking).
She further fueled the rumors with a playful comment, “ndini ndakamudya” (I’m the one who ate him), when asked if she had been involved with Ras Pompy.
The drama began when H-Metro reported that Ras Pompy had been romantically involved with his friend’s mother, Wesley Shoniwa’s mother, which led to Shoniwa facing attempted murder charges.
Shoniwa allegedly stabbed his uncle after a heated argument about his mother’s relationship with Ras Pompy, a man significantly younger than her.
Following the court revelations, social media users speculated wildly about the identity of the woman in question, circulating images of various women, including the influencer Abena Cilla, who is not even Zimbabwean, and local video vixen Muchadeiko Albertina Masarire, also known as Queen Mutshadae.
