Real Madrid’s head coach Carlo Ancelotti has announced that the club will not participate in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup due to financial difficulties.
Ancelotti highlighted that a single Real Madrid match is worth €20 million and FIFA wants to give that amount for the whole tournament.
“We will reject the invitation like other clubs, Just one single Real Madrid match is worth €20m and they want to give us that money for the whole competition… no way, Negative”, Ancelloti exclaimed.
The Italian coach further warned of many other teams not showing up for the tournament as FIFA according to him,”undervalued the competition”.
