A man who was hospitalized at Parirenyatwa Group of Hospitals following a road traffic accident has been reunited with his family after the hospital made a public appeal for help in identifying him.
The man was brought to the hospital by police but arrived without any form of identification.
Due to the injuries he sustained in the accident, he is experiencing memory loss, preventing him from recalling any details about himself or the incident.

In an update released on Thursday, November 28, the hospital announced that they had successfully located the man’s relatives thanks to the public’s assistance.
The statement read:
“We would like to express our gratitude to everyone who helped in the search for the identity of our unidentified patient, following our notice on November 26, 2024. We are pleased to inform you that his relatives have been found, and we appreciate your efforts in spreading the word.”
