Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo (CR7) was recently awarded the Platinum Quinas trophy by the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF). The Portugal and Al Nassr captain, however, declined to look too far into the future.
Despite his advancing years in football, Ronaldo has rarely discussed his eventual retirement, instead focusing on making more history in the sport.
Speaking after receiving the Platinum Quinas trophy, Ronaldo expressed that he is now living in the moment and will gauge how his body responds in the coming years.
“I now approach life by living in the moment. I can’t think long-term anymore. I said publicly that I wanted to reach 1,000 goals, but it seems everything is easier now—I just reached 900 last month.
It’s about living
