Woman on the run after assisting her husband rape a 15-year-old

A 28-year-old Harare man has appeared in court on allegations of raping a 15-year-old girl with the help of his wife.
The court gallery was left wondering what has become of the world after it emerged that the complainant is a friend of the accused person’s wife.
Circumstances are that early this year, the accused person’s wife who is still at large, proposed love to the complainant on several occasions on behalf of her husband but she turned it down.
The court heard that in pursuit of her evil plans the accused person’s wife asked the complainant’s mother to allow her to go to church with her daughter and she agreed not knowing that the trusted couple had wicked plans.
It is alleged that when they got to the couple’s house, the accused person’s wife pretended to go to the shops to buy bread, locked the door and left the teenager with her husband, who raped her once.
The court also heard that after the rape incident, the victim told the accused’s wife who implored her not to disclose the matter, promising to take care of her if she got pregnant.
The matter came to light after the complainant’s mother suspected she was pregnant, leading to the suspect’s arrest.
Still, at the courts, Keith Moyo of Harare has appeared in court on charges of theft of trust property involving US$20 000.
Circumstances are that on the 30th of last month, the complainant in the matter who is the Chief Executive Officer of Victory Tobacco Company instructed the company’s General Manager Operations Happiness Shamba to action payment of the firm’s Contractors and Buyer’s Licence at the Tobacco Industry Marketing Board (TIMB).
