SA pastor feeds congregants rat pois0n to prove ‘de@th has no power’ over them

In a shocking turn of events, Light Monyeki, the head pastor of Grace Living Hope Ministries in Pretoria, South Africa, sparked widespread outrage and disbelief by encouraging his congregation to drink rat pois0n.

This controversial act was intended to demonstrate that ‘de@th has no power over us,’ a claim that made headlines for all the wrong reasons.

Pastor Monyeki’s dramatic demonstration took place during a church service, where he boldly mixed water with Rattex, a well-known brand of rat pois0n in South Africa.

He then took a sip of the deadly concoction himself before inviting his followers to do the same. The incident was proudly documented on the church’s Facebook page, complete with photos and a detailed account of the bizarre event.

The church’s post reads:

“The man of God, Prophet Light Monyeki, demonstrates the power of faith by causing congregants to drink Rattex; de@dly pois0n to show forth their faith. As he was doing that, he said, ‘We do not need to proclaim faith because we are believers. If nyope boys can smoke Rattex for more than 8 years, who are we? De@th has no power over us.’ Then he declared life from above upon the water mixed with Rattex and spoke nourishment unto bodies and healing unto the sick.

A multitude of congregants voluntarily ran to the front to have a drink of the de@dly pois0n. After declaring nourishment and healing, Prophet Light was the first one to drink. TO GOD BE THE GLORY. 2017: THE YEAR OF THE OPEN DOOR.”

The reference to “nyope boys” relates to users of a highly addictive street drug known as nyaope, which is made from a mixture of low-grade heroin, marijuana, rat poison, and household detergents containing chlorine and ammonia. Monyeki’s comparison aimed to emphasize the supposed invincibility of faith over de@th.

Unsurprisingly, this dangerous stunt has drawn severe criticism from various quarters, including health professionals, religious leaders, and the general public. Critics argue that such actions not only endanger lives but also exploit the blind faith of followers.

Medical experts have strongly condemned the pastor’s actions, warning of the lethal consequences of ingesting rat pois0n.

Rattex contains potent anticoagulants that can cause severe internal bleeding and organ failure, leading to a painful death. Despite Monyeki’s claims of divine protection, the risks associated with consuming such t0xins are undeniable and potentially fat@l.
