Member of Parliament for Mabvuku-Tafara constituency, Pedzai Scott Sakupwanya has reportedly showed kindness and generosity by distributing food hampers to residents in Mabvuku-Tafara constituencyin Harare.
According to Dandaro Online’s X post, Newsreportzim.com has learned that Mr Scott Sakupwanya donated groceries on the Christmas day.
“Pedzai Scott Sakupwanya, president of Scottland FC, showed kindness and generosity by distributing food hampers to residents in his Mabvuku-Tafara constituency for Christmas,” the post reads.
Scott Sakupwanya’s donations turned tables for many residents in Mabvuku at the time where many Zimbabweans are struggling to put food on their tables. Zimbabwe is currently reeling from drought, induced by the El Nino phenomenon. This year, the phenomenon destroyed crops that many households rely on for survival.
In April, President Emmerson Mnangagwa declared the drought a national disaster paving the way for food assistance.
