Former Real Madrid and Paris Saint- Germain (PSG) centre-back, Sergio Ramos is open to a return to Real Madrid as the club consider options in central defence amid injury issues. Real Madrid are depleted defensively due to a wretched run of bad luck, with Eder Militao and Dani Carvajal.
The duo was sidelined for the campaign with an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury, while David Alaba is still recovering after a knee operation last December and he is yet to return from his long-term layoff.
The 38-year-old is yet to find a new club following his release from Sevilla in the summer. In a recent twitter post, Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Ramos would be ‘open and happy to return’ if Real Madrid made an approach. However, there has been no contact between Real Madrid and the veteran defender over a potential move at this stage.
During his time with Los Blancos, Ramos won five La Liga titles and four Champions League trophies among his honours after he represented the club 671 times.
