Sevilla, a Spanish professional football club has rejected proposal from Rangers for Joan Jordán to join the Scottish club on loan.
According to the renowned Italian sports journalist, Fabrizio Romano’s latest transfer news updates on Joan Jordan, newsreportzim.com has reliably informed that Sevilla have rejected Rangers’ proposal for the central midfielder Joan Jordan on loan deal.
“Sevilla have rejected proposal from Rangers for Joan Jordán to join the Scottish club on loan.
Sevilla have no plans to cover part of the salary for Jordán as Rangers required, deal currently off'” the update reads.
Jordan is in his fifth year at Sevilla having joined the La Liga giants from Eibar in 2019. He made almost 200 appearances for the club, scoring seven goals, but only featured 13 times last season.
Meanwhile, Sevilla have signed Arsenal midfielder Albert Sambi Lokonga on loan with the option to make the move permanent next summer.
The 24-year-old’s current contract is due to expire next summer, but contains the option for it to be extended by a further 12 months.
