The conference centered around the provocative theme “Small House Must D!e,” aimed at addressing the issue of “small houses,” a colloquial term for mistresses who are allegedly causing strain in marriages by engaging with married men.
Dubbed the Anti-Small House Campaign, the event was to be led by Pastor Sarah Chirenje and feature key speakers including Pastor Elshadai, Prophetess Deborah, Pastor Grace Mudondo, and Pastor Tanda. The flier has sparked significant controversy on social media.
Critics argue that the focus should be on addressing the behavior of unfaithful husbands rather than targeting the women involved. One user commented, “They should pray for their husbands as they are the ones who are che@ting.” Another pointed out the irony, questioning, “As they are hosting their conference, who will be with their husbands for those three days?”
