There was an elderly man who went viral at a Zanu Pf rally in Gweru during the campaign season. He was dancing to one of the party’s songs and he got the attention of many people because of the way he was dancing considering his age.
Businessman Wicknell Chivhayo has promised to build a borehole, give him US$2000 , and a grinding miller to furnish his life and start on a good path .
In his twitter message he wrote:
Kune avo vari ku Conference kwedu ku Gweru pakaitawo anosangana ne Mudhara wedu uyu ndiri kuva tsvaga. Ndinoda kuvapa 2000 usd ndova cherera chibhorani ndo vatengera ne chigayo. If we don’t recognize and acknowledge Jive yaka dai tinenge tarashika se vana ve musangano we vanhu.
Many people have applauded this gesture whilst others still maintain that this was uncalled for and he should not be helping individuals but helping many people and setting up structures that could benefit everyone
