A gang of six armed robbers recently appeared in court, remanded in custody and are expected to return on February 24. The six suspects were arr3sted by the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) after they acted on a tip-off from the members of the public.
The armed robbers had been terrorising the Seke and Chitungwiza community causing sleepless nights to the residents. The six suspects are identified as Richmond Munhundiyani, Ropafadzo Bhero, James Mucheri, Francis Alfandika, Fungai Sithole and Maxwell Tinarwo.
Crime officer under CID Homicide, Detective Chief Superintendent Alexander Jachi commended members of the public for supplying information which led to the arrest and recovery of some of the stolen property by the six armed robbers.
