Police have apprehended a 36-year-old man, Knowledge Kapesa, in connection with a shocking murd3r that occurred on July 27 2024, at Rasternburg Farm.
The incident involved the brutal k!lling of his father, 76-year-old Manuel Kapesa, over a seemingly trivial disagreement regarding sweet potatoes.
According to police reports, the altercation escalated after Manuel Kapesa refused to provide his son with sweet potatoes. In a fit of rage, Knowledge reportedly struck his father with stones, targeting his head. The impact of the blows proved fatal, and Manuel was pronounced d3ad at the scene.
Witnesses at the farm described the scene as chaotic, with neighbors rushing to the location upon hearing the commotion. “It was horrifying to see how quickly things escalated. We had always known them to have a rocky relationship, but we never imagined it would end like this,” said a neighbor.
Recent investigations have indicated that Knowledge reportedly suffers from mental health issues. The police, recognizing the importance of understanding his state of mind, have stated that they will further assess his psychological condition during the investigation.
