Rapper and Love and Hip Hop South Africa star Leslie Mampe, known as Da L.E.S, has been hospitalised after suffering a stroke on Friday.
His family confirmed this development in an official statement issued on Sunday afternoon, following his absence from a planned birthday celebration, as announced on social media.
“While he is currently in stable condition, this is a challenging time for his loved ones,” stated the Mampe family, urging the public to keep Da L.E.S in their thoughts and prayers during this difficult period. They assured to provide updates on his health as they become available.

Da L.E.S, born Leslie Jonathan Mampe, gained fame as a member of the musical group Jozi alongside Bongani Fassie and Ishmael.
He later pursued a successful solo career and became known for hosting exclusive pool parties before appearing on shows like The Real Jozi A-Listers and Love and Hip Hop South Africa. Last November, he released an album titled 313.
