American documentarian and filmmaker, Morgan Spurlock has d!ed at the age of 53 in New York while battling cancer.
Spurlock was famous for his McDonalds documentary, Super size me, in 2004 in which he consumed McDonalds fast food for a period of 30 days and it is alleged that as a result, his cholesterol levels spiked and he gained too much weight.
According to sources, although his documentary was a hit and an academy award nominee, Spurlock later removed himself from the public eye after admitting to s3xual misconduct and this further caused fast food giant, McDonald’s to suffer losses in profits the following year.
There is still worldwide discontent that although the type of cancer he was battling wasnt mentioned, his cause of de@th was the amount of fast food he consumed in that month and it had long term effects.
Spurlock’s burial is yet to be confirmed.
