The police in Binga are seeking assistance from the public as they pursue the arrest of several individuals involved in a significant stock theft incident.
The primary suspects, identified as Never Macheke and Bhudhiza Sphondivi, along with their accomplices Sainjiba and Samakhabo, are wanted in connection with the theft of six cattle from Chitete Village in Lusulu on July 18, 2024.
This act of theft has raised concerns in the community, prompting the authorities to intensify their search for the suspects.
Following the theft, the st0len cattle were reportedly sold to an individual named Golden Siamajaya, who was apprehended while slaughtering one of the stolen cattle at Simuachemba Village on August 19 2024.
The police are urging anyone with relevant information regarding the whereabouts of Macheke, Sphondivi, Sainjiba, Samakhabo, or any details relating to the incident to come forward.
Residents are encouraged to report any leads to the nearest police station to aid in the swift apprehension of the suspects.
