In Saruwe, police responded swiftly to a report of robbery at Scotdale Farm, where a security guard was attacked and armored cables were stolen. After a high-speed chase, Moses Bunou (21) was apprehended, and the stolen cables were recovered along with the suspect’s getaway car, a Honda Fit with registration number AEY 6065.
Meanwhile, in Chirundu, police intercepted a Trip Trans bus at a service station and arrested conductor Charles Mutimbo (34) for smuggling two bales of new clothes. This incident highlights the police’s efforts to curb illegal activities and enforce customs regulations.
