A 55-year-old primary school teacher from Plumtree, Allen Sibotshwa, is facing serious allegations after he allegedly indecently ass@ulted a grade seven pupil in a storeroom.
During a court appearance at the Plumtree magistrates court, Sibotshwa pleaded not guilty to the charges brought against him.
The incident reportedly occurred in January last year, when the teacher is accused of luring the student into a storeroom and forcibly removing his shorts.
According to the state’s allegations, Sibotshwa proceeded to rub the minor’s genitals until he achieved an erection and even placed a c0ndom on the child’s manhood.
Following the assa_lt, the teacher reportedly threatened the child with d3ath should he disclose the incident to anyone.
The victim eventually found the courage to report the incident to a new teacher after Sibotshwa had transferred to another school.
This confession led to a police investigation and ultimately to Sibotshwa’s arrest.
