A Zambian presidential candidate, Alex Mulyokela, had viewers in stitches with his unusual promise during a pre-election interview.
Mulyokela declared that, if elected president, he would ban the use of cond0ms and arrest anyone caught using them.
“No condoms! Anyone found using a condom will be arrested. God said, ‘Go and multiply,’” Mulyokela announced.
He made this eyebrow-raising statement while discussing his vision for Zambia should he win the presidency.

The interview took an even more unexpected turn when, halfway through, Mulyokela’s phone rang.
Without missing a beat, he answered the call and continued chatting, leaving the interviewer and the audience in shock.
The host, caught off guard, tried to keep the show going and engage with viewers while Mulyokela carried on his phone conversation, eventually informing the caller that he was on live TV.
