A 31-year-old man had his white Mercedes Benz C200 stolen from outside a restaurant in Harare after an unidentified woman allegedly snatched his car keys while they played pool together. The woman quietly exited the restaurant, unlocked the vehicle, and drove off at high speed.
In a separate incident, police in Bulawayo have arrested Thabo Dube in connection with a break-in at a National Foods warehouse. Dube and his accomplice, Mukhululi Ncube, stole various items, including sunhats, work suits, gumboots, and a welding machine. Ncube remains at large.
The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) is investigating both cases. In Harare police are working hard to track down the woman who stole the Mercedes Benz. In Bulawayo, the Mzilikazi police are pursuing leads to apprehend Mukhululi Ncube and recover the stolen goods.
These incidents highlight the need for vigilance and security measures to prevent theft and crime in the city.
