Zimbabwean mixed martial artist Themba Gorimbo has claimed that his Facebook account was hacked by fans of dancehall star Winky D, following a heated debate on social media.
Gorimbo had earlier stated that he is recognised internationally, while Winky D is only recognised locally, sparking a backlash from Winky D’s fans.
In the wake of the debate, Gorimbo’s account was deactivated, he allegedly reactivated it later and posted a birthday message to musician Jah Prayzah, calling him the “GOAT of music in Zimbabwe” and praising his international recognition.
Gorimbo also mentioned the late Oliver Mtukudzi, further fueling the debate about local vs international recognition.
