Former Liverpool and Bayern Munich midfielder, Thiago Alcantara has decided to hang his boots from football at the age of 33 following Liverpool exit.
According to Fabrizio Romano’s sports news updates, newsreportzim.com has learned that the Brazilian footballer has decided to retire from football.
“EXCLUSIVE: Thiago Alcantara has decided to retire from professional football. Former Barça, Bayern, Liverpool and Spain player has made his decision,” the post reads.
Thiago’s passion and love for the game continues as he’s ready for new chapter in football after few months planning for it.
Thiago Alcantara joined the English Premier League gaint, Liverpool in September of 2020 after he had helped Bayern Munich to win the Champions League in Portugal.
Across four years with the Reds, Thiago featured less than 100 times and his last start as a Liverpool player came in February of 2023, in a 3-0 defeat to Wolves at Molinuex.
