Yesterday, reports surfaced, indicating that Nigerian politician Dr. Cairo Ojougboh passed away while watching the semi-final football game between South Africa and Nigeria on Wednesday night.
According to sources,the incident occurred when a penalty was awarded against Nigeria. Dr. Cairo Ojougboh reportedly screamed and then collapsed after Bafana Bafana scored against Nigeria.
“The incident happened when the penalty was awarded against Nigeria. Dr Ojougboh was said to have shouted and slumped due to massive heart attack when SA scored,” the source revealed.
Dr. Cairo Ojougboh was a former member of the House of Representatives, representing the Ika Federal Constituency in Delta State. Additionally, he held the position of a chieftain within the All Progressives Congress
New reports have emerged, revealing that three more Nigerian men d!ed on Wednesday night while watching the AFCON semi-finals game.
Among them was Nigerian businessman Chief Osondu Nwoye, the CEO of Groupe Auto Promotion, who reportedly collapsed after a goal was cancelled.
