Three inmates from Harare Central Remand Prison are in trouble for allegedly drugg!ng and s3xually ass@ulting a fellow prisoner.
Kingswell Ngwerume (32), Kudakwashe Mazorodze (35), and Lazurus Chinobhururuka (40) appeared in court on August 22nd and are scheduled to return on September 4th for their trial.
The incident reportedly happened on August 11th.

The three men and the 20-year-old victim were in their cells when Mazorodze supposedly told the victim to move to Cell C2, where Ngwerume and Chinobhururuka were.
The victim claimed he woke up in the night to find Ngwerume touching him inappropriately.
When he resisted, Ngwerume, Chinobhururuka, and Mazorodze allegedly attacked him. Chinobhururuka then forced the victim to drink from a bottle, making him feel dizzy, and the three men are accused of taking turns to ass@ult him.
The next morning, the victim told a prison officer, who then opened the cell and took him to the hospital.
