Tristan Tate, the brother of Andrew Tate, has shared his thoughts on the recent crowning of Brooke Bruk-Jackson as the 2023 Miss Universe Zimbabwe winner.
Brooke was crowned at the Hippodrome in Braeside after beating 11 other top beauties on 16 September 2023, marking a significant moment as the first Miss Universe Zimbabwe in 22 years. However, her win has sparked a flurry of reactions, both positive and negative.
Some critics have raised concerns that her selection may have been influenced by racial bias, suggesting that she won because she is white.
These critics contend that a black contestant should have been chosen as the winner, not Brooke. The argument went international with social media users from the United States also weighing in on Brooke Bruk-Jackson’s crowning.
This debate went onto social media, with some voices from the United States joining in to express discomfort. They argued that Zimbabwe, being predominantly black, should have had a native African contestant as the winner.
Tristan Tate, known for his outspoken views against woke culture and feminism, weighed in on the issue. Taking to his X account, Tristan Tate defended Brooke Bruk-Jackson from critics who based their criticism on her race.
He argued that if she cannot be Miss Universe Zimbabwe because of the colour of her skin, then every woman from every country should look like an ethnic native.
“If she’s not allowed to be miss Zimbabwe then every girl from every country should look like an ethnic native,” Tristan wrote on X.
